Before you print
- Which tracing worksheet should a child start with?
- Their own name, then lowercase letters, then numbers. Most UK schools teach lowercase first. Start with c (the entry to 9 round letters), l and i, and leave b, d, g, p, q and S until the others are steady.
- How many tracing worksheets are there?
- 114 PDFs: 78 letter sheets, 22 number sheets, 4 packs in 2 paper sizes and 6 sheets of lined paper. Every one is free and has no signup.
- Do the letters and numbers match?
- Yes. Same font, same three-line ruling, same stroke box with a green start dot and numbered strokes, same 5 rows. A child who has done one sheet knows how to do all of them.
- Can I use them at school?
- Yes. Print as many as you need for your class. Please do not sell the sheets or upload them to another site; link here instead.
